SFWA Opens to Comic and Graphic Novel Writers

The Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers of America (SFWA) voted to accept active membership applications from comic and graphic novel writers.

The decision was made by a membership-wide vote during the 2020 SFWA Officer Election. Specific dates and rules are yet to be announced. The voting results are available on the SFWA site.

SFWA also voted to change the membership class name from “active member” to “full member.”
