Selections for World Book Night 2019 have been announced, including several titles of genre interest:
World Book Night is an annual book giveaway run by The Reading Agency charity for “adults with low literacy levels or who don’t read for pleasure, isolated and vulnerable older people, people in UK prisons, parents and vulnerable pregnant women, people with mental health issues and young people who don’t read for pleasure.”
The books are donated by publishers and given out during events across the UK on April 23 every year. For more information, see the World Book Night website.
While you are here, please take a moment to support Locus with a one-time or recurring donation. We rely on reader donations to keep the magazine and site going, and would like to keep the site paywall free, but WE NEED YOUR FINANCIAL SUPPORT to continue quality coverage of the science fiction and fantasy field.
