The 29th annual Galaxy Awards for Chinese science fiction were announced November 23, 2018 at the third China Science Fiction Conference in Shenzhen, China.

  • The Hearts Behind, Gu Di

Best Short Story (tie)

  • “Amorville”, Bella Han
  • “Tian Tu”, Wang Jinkang
  • “An Account of the Sky Whales”, A Que

There was no award given in the Best Saga category for this year. The Galaxy Award was co-founded in 1985 by Science Fiction World magazine and is China’s oldest science fiction award. For more information, see the Xinhuanet article.
