2018 Wellman Award Nominees
The North Carolina Speculative Fiction Foundation has announced the shortlist for the 2018 Manly Wade Wellman Award. The award recognizes “outstanding achievement in science fiction and fantasy novels written by North Carolina authors.”

- Amazing Grace, John G. Hartness (Falstaff)
- The Stravinsky Intrigue, Darin Kennedy (Curiosity Quills)
- Six Wakes, Mur Lafferty (Orbit)
- Scourge, Gail Z. Martin (Solaris)
Final voting is open to members of three North Carolina science fiction and fantasy conventions until July 2, 2018. The winner will be announced at ConGregate 5 on July 13, 2018 at the Red Lion Hotel in High Point NC.
