2018 Edge Hill Short Story Prize Shortlist
The five-title shortlist for the 2018 Edge Hill Prize for Short Story has been announced, including several titles and authors of genre interest:
- Madame Zero, Sarah Hall (Faber & Faber)
- All the Beloved Ghosts, Alison MacLeod (Bloomsbury)
- Come Let Us Sing Anyway, Leone Ross (Peepal Tree)
The £10,000 prize is given to “a single-authored collection of short stories” by writers born or residing in the UK or Ireland. Judges for 2018 are Ailsa Cox, Daisy Johnson, Paul McVeigh, and Alice O’Keefe. The winners will be announced on November 3, 2018 during a ceremony at Foyles bookshop in London. “The ceremony will also include a £1,000 Reader’s Choice Award to an author from the shortlist.”
