Margo Lanagan’s Sea Hearts (Allen & Unwin) was awarded the 2013 Norma K. Hemming Award for excellence in the exploration of themes of race, gender, sexuality, class, and disability in Australian speculative fiction. The award was presented April 27, 2013 at Conflux 9, the 52nd Australian National SF Convention in Canberra, Australia.
