Literary agent and editor Hilary Rubinstein, 86, died May 22, 2012 in London. Rubinstein entered the field in 1950 when he began working for his uncle, publishing giant Victor Gollancz. Rubinstein founded the Gollancz SF line, and encouraged his friend Kingsley Amis to write for the publisher.
