Angry Robot’s New Home

Angry Robot Books, the imprint of HarperCollins UK started in July 2009, has parted ways with its parent company and will become an independent imprint under Osprey Publishing, a non-fiction press that currently specializes in military history and wants to expand into the SF/F fiction market.

Angry Robot will keep its Nottingham office and its current team, led by founder and publisher Marc Gascoigne, who says, “our publishing program for 2010/11 will be basically unaffected by these changes. There will be a short break while the transition is sorted out, but we will be re-launching in September 2010 and then it will be business as usual.”
