All lists rank hardcovers and paperbacks separately, except for the USA Today list, which is a single list combining fiction and nonfiction in all formats. Dates shown are posted dates, except those in parentheses, which are dates compiled. New York Times posts its list one week in advance of print publication.
Note that some sources do not compile paperback bestsellers, and some exclude YA books (like the Harry Potter series) from their hardcover and paperback fiction lists.

Print lists catch up this week with Neil Gaiman's Newbery Award win for The Graveyard Book; it jumps to #1 on the New York Times children's chapter book list, and ranks an impressive 5th place on San Francisco Chronicle's fiction (not children's) hardcover list.
Three titles debut on NYT extended lists: Kelley Armstrong's Men of the Otherworld (Bantam), latest in her Women of the Otherworld series, at #19 on the fiction hardcover list; Carrie Vaughn's Kitty and the Dead Man's Hand (Grand Central), latest in her Kitty Norville series, #13 on the mass market paperback list; and Michael Reaves' Star Wars: Patterns of Force: Coruscant Nights III (Bantam), #16 on the same list.
And a forthcoming title that caught our eye on Amazon.com's list today: Pride and Prejudice and Zombies: The Classic Regency Romance - Now with Ultraviolent Zombie Mayhem!, by Jane Austen and Seth Grahame-Smith, due in May from Quirk Books. Check it out.
We've checked several times, but USA Today's website has been inaccessible today. The chart below shows USAT's last week's rankings.
