Experimental Serbian novelist Milorad Pavic, 80, died November 30, 2009 in Belgrade of complications from a heart attack. Pavic’s novels, which all had fantasy elements, were translated into over 30 languages. Pavic also published short stories, poetry, and non-fiction.
