Elizabeth Kostova's The Historian dominates this week's print lists -- the first five columns in the table below -- ranking #1, #2, or #4 on each one of them.

Of course, J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, published last Saturday, continues to rank #1 on every online bookseller list -- the rightmost four columns of the table below. This has been true for months, but as a further indication of the impact of the new book, editions of the previous five books in the series have returned to the Amazon lists, both in hardcover and in paperback. (Note that this table doesn't attempt to track variant versions -- adult vs. children's, boxed, special, etc. -- that are distinguished on some of the Amazon lists; we're tracking the highest ranking hardcover and paper editions of each title, from each country, only.)

Meanwhile, we've added Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Puffin) to the table, though it's already ranked on some lists for a few weeks now. And in other news, MaryJanice Davidson's Undead and Unappreciated (Berkley), though it's dropped off a couple Amazon lists, debuts this week on 3 print lists, as high as #13 on the Publishers Weekly hardcover fiction list.
