Two paperback reprints make significant debuts this week: Dean Koontz's The Taking (Bantam), on 4 lists, among the top 4 rankings on each, and at #1 on the New York Times fiction paperback list. And, the paperback edition of Christopher Paolini's Eragon ranks #1 on NYT's children's paperback list, and #37 on USA Today's combined list.
J.K. Rowling's forthcoming Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince slips to #2 today on US Amazon's list (behind a baby book), but still ranks #1 on the UK and Canadian Amazon lists.
