The Mists of Avalon led trade paperbacks for the fifth month straight, with twice the points as the number two title. War For the Oaks by Emma Bull (Tor) was the new runner-up. Nominees: 54, down from 69.

Star Wars: The New Jedi Order: Balance Point was the strong favorite in the media-related category. Nominees: 27, down from 34.
