Help Wanted

Locus Magazine is seeking one or possibly two employees to work in our Oakland, California editorial office. At least one of the positions is full time, the other may be part-time. Applicants must be knowledgeable about SF books, computer literate, and detail-oriented. Familiarity with PageMaker, PhotoShop, and WordPerfect for DOS is a plus, as is experience with the Internet. We need people who can handle jobs as disparate as page layout & design, phoning publishers for information, accounting, filing, etc. Applicants must have a driver's license and be comfortable working under deadline. We pay a living wage commensurate with starting salary of other publishers, about $20K.
