- New sections -- latest books; current magazine notices/reviews; short fiction notices tied to current magazines.
- Author appearances now appear sorted three ways -- by author; by site (or host); by date.
- Adds index of books reviewed in Locus in 1997 (which will be updated monthly).
- Adds "Aether Vibrations", a news and quotes section devoted to areas peripheral to SF -- science, fiction, publishing, etc.
- Restores the monthly "New and recommended" books and short fiction lists to their original monthly forms (linked from the monthly issue profile pages), as well as the cumulative lists.
- Back issue lists are sorted consistently.
- Interview index gives issue dates, not numbers.
