TAFF and GUFF Winners
Johan Anglemark has won the Trans-Atlantic Fan Fund (TAFF) to travel from Europe to Worldcon 76, defeating Fia Karlsson and Helena McCallum (Adela Terrell). The fund is currently administered by John Purcell in North America and Anna Raftery in Europe. The 2018 TAFF is open to anyone “active in SF fandom” before April 2016. Worldcon 76 will be held August 16-20, 2018 at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center in San Jose CA. For more information, see the TAFF website.
Marcin Klak has won the Get Up-and-over Fan Fund (GUFF) to travel from Europe to Continuum XIV, defeating Steve and Alice Lawson. The fund is currently administered by Donna Maree Hanson in Australasia and Mihaela Marija Perkovic in Europe. The 2018 GUFF is open to “anyone who was active in fandom prior to January 2016.” Candidates for a northbound trip must be residents of Australia or New Zealand. Continuum XIV will be held June 8-11, 2018 at the Jasper Hotel in Melbourne, Australia. For more information, see the GUFF website.
