Martin Funds Taos Toolbox Scholarship

George R.R. Martin has announced that he will fund a new scholarship for the Taos Toolbox writing workshop, held every summer in Angel Fire NM. The “Terran Award” is intended “to bring an aspiring SF writer from a non-English-speaking country” to the workshop and will cover all tuition and fees (travel and meals not included). “Applicants will need to speak and write in English, but must be from from a country where English is not the primary language.” The winner will be selected by workshop staff including Walter Jon Williams and Nancy Kress.

For more information, see the Taos Toolbox website.
