HWA Admits Self-Published Authors

The Horror Writers Association (HWA) issued new bylaws and membership qualifications that went into effect July 24, 2014, allowing self-published work to qualify authors for membership under certain conditions.

Self-published writers can become active members if they have proven earnings of $2,000 from a single work within two years of publication, and can become affiliate members with proven sales of $200 within two years.
