Simon & Schuster has announced a new imprint, not yet named, that will focus on science fiction, fantasy, and horror for “YA and above.” Justin Chandra is publisher, and Joe Monti (recently of Barry Goldblatt Literary Agency) has been hired as executive editor. Navah Wolfe of Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers has been promoted to editor, and will work for the new imprint full-time. The new line will publish 12-15 titles a year in hardcover, and the first books are expected to appear by Spring 2015 or earlier.
