Other Awards Presented at Worldcon

In addition to the Hugo and Campbell Awards, several other awards were announced at this year's World Science Fiction Convention in Denver, Colorado.

At the Hugo Awards ceremony, the following awards were presented:

  • First Fandom Hall of Fame Awards to Mike Ashley and Ray Harryhausen

  • A Posthumous First Fandom Hall of Fame Award to Dr. Isaac Asimov

  • First Fandom's Sam Moskowitz Archive Award, presented for excellence in science fiction collecting, to Frank Robinson and Bob Peterson

  • The Big Heart Award was presented to Suford Lewis.

  • Two Worldcon Special Committee Awards were presented: to NASA, in honor of its 50th anniversary, and to NESFA Press.
