Terry Pratchett Knighted

Terry Pratchett, 60, has been knighted for his services to literature in the Queen’s New Year Honours. “There are times when phrases such as ‘totally astonished’ just don’t do the job… I am of course delighted and honored and, needless to say, flabbergasted.” Sir Terry was previously made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire in 1998.
