The subject is indicated by the title, and the book highlights writers including Gwyneth Jones, James Morrow, and Raphael Carter, not to mention Le Guin, Heinlein, and Dick. SF novel set in 1894, 1952, 2004, and points beyond, that answers the question "What should you do if a raven keeps appearing on your doorstep and giving you advice?" according to the author's webpage. Reviewed by Nick Gevers in the November issue of Locus Magazine, who called it "a marvelous entertainment and an accomplished novel of ideas"; and by Russell Letson in the January 2003 issue. The author's website calls it the "first of the Moonworlds fantasy series". Edited by Jack Dann.
