Late Notice for tonight, 4 March 2000:
Author and screenwriter Curt Siodmak, at age 97 the oldest working member of the Writers Guild, appears tonight at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, 7:30, for a screening of the 1929 German film People on Sunday, a collaboration between Siodmak, his brother Robert, and directors Fred Zinnemann and Billy Wilder. Siodmak is best known in SF for his 1943 novel Donovan's Brain, filmed three times, once in 1953 under the same title.
